Deceptive hiring practices. Full time, remove position advertised through a recruiting agency. Went through multiple interviews, assessments, a timed assignment. Very thorough. At the end was offered not a job but 1099 contractor status. And was asked to write my own proposal for what it would take. Bottom line is the CEO didn't want to hire remote. Yet they advertised the job as remote employment throughout the entire process. Stated company values do not translate into hiring practices.
