Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Gorilla Logic.
Entrevista
After submitting the CV, there is an HR interview to discuss experience, notice period, and salary expectations. Then, you get a link for online tests (similar to HackerRank or Codility).
I didn't pass it because the 1st question was a LeetCode style type and I was rusty about those, and I'm wondering if it still makes sense to ask them in 2026 with all AI tools available. The next question was an Azure architectural scenario. It was interesting, but you have to record yourself to share your mind about your proposal, and when I remembered the salary range, I thought it was not worth it to move forward because they're picking your mind as an Architect for a Developer role.
Other posts mention lowballing the offer (going from senior to mid), so I decided not to move forward with the application.

Pergunta 1
Find the longest combination of strings within an array (LeetCode style).
How do we decide how to migrate some existing workloads to Azure, what are the risks, what are the reasons behind those decisions, and how to push back to a manager suggesting just migrating to VMs.

There was 4 rounds.
A first call with HR agent that will explain you all the process, he will tell you they never ghost people(Spoiler: They do).
Second Round was a hackerank.
Third round was an AI technical Interview.
Final round was a technical assessment with team members, they asked some technical questions and they decided if you are passing or not.
After that I was told that I was mid level(position was for senior) and that it wasn’t a rejection but stop responding after that.

The interview was very enjoyable. The interviewer did a great job organizing the interview, which was divided into three sections: fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript, then we moved on to React and Node, and we finished with questions about what I would do and how I would do it in hypothetical situations, but they asked me to explain how I solved it, not how I would have solved it.
