After applying online, I was called in for an in person interview in the Burbank location. Though I had filled out an app online, I was asked to fill out another in paper and pencil in a waiting room, which felt like a waste of my time. I was then taken to a conference room where I met with HR and a member of the digital marketing department who seemed unenthused to be there. I was then asked if I'd rather interview for another position in content creation, which was somewhat jarring on the spot, but I was happy to be considered. Then a member of that team joined us, and was equally unenthused. I was then asked if I preferred content creation or SEO, to which I replied content creation. However, unbeknownst to me, this position was a lower salary than what I'd initially been interviewing for. This felt like a bait-and-switch for an inconvenient, in-office position with department heads that seemed unhappy to be there. I was asked if I'd take the lower salary and if so, could likely be hired that day. I said I likely couldn't and needed to think about it. I did not hear from them after that.
