      Entrevista

      Three interviews, with two interviewers per round. Focused on peer relationships, team management, upward/lateral management, with each round focusing in on specific topics with different folks. Everyone with whom I spoke was friendly and kind.

      What a shame! I love the product, and the company seems to have wonderful publicity over how it runs and operates. I really wanted to work for them, and firmly believe that once through the door, some people will have a great experience. However their interview process seems to have a lot of problems, most notably with communication. After I initially applied I firstly did not hear anything for quite a while, once into the process all was fine until I had finished my first interview, then.... ....radio silence! No follow up from recruiters asking how I thought it went, no clarification on what their impressions were and no overall feedback. It seems once they don't like you, they cut you off, like a toxic ex boy/girlfriend! And it's a shame really, because the main interview - who has a very impressive CV themself and has been featured in articles on Grafana's website talking about how great the recruitment process is - but this is all undermined by the actions I experienced in the process. They are also now at the director level, so despite being in a position of influence and responsibility, either is unable to, or is unwilling to change, iterate and improve on the hiring process. And to say it again and conclude, what a shame!

      numerous questions, it was a "technical interview" but did not really touch on many directly technical topics themselves. this was more about managing technical scenarios, how to helps facilitate and encourage collaboration in these circumstances. genuinely enjoyed this discussion!

      The process is very transparent regarding which steps it contains and what happens when, you can see it beneath every job post they publish. The interviews are very well organized and structured so that both parties can get a pretty clear picture of each other. I really enjoyed talking to everyone and that mostly sold me on the company as I liked the culture and my interview partners a lot. I would love to highlight that I was very pleasantly surprised with how fast they move compared to the other companies. Kudos to the whole talent aquisition team @ Grafana!
