Applied online and set up a phone screener with HR. The talent coordinator (Katherine) was fantastic. She was very organized, kept me in the loop, and asked applicable questions about my experience, which I appreciated.
After the HR screener, I completed the aptitude test, which felt a little old fashioned.
After completion of the aptitude test, I had an interview with the hiring manager. He did a nice job asking me good questions about my experience and how I handle project management. He avoided cliche gotcha questions which was nice. I felt like he made a nice use of the time trying to understand who I was, how I work, and how I would fit into the team.
After the hiring manager interview, I would have moved on to an interview with the broader team, but I accepted a role else where before that stage. Overall, the process took a month from my time of applying online. I felt they moved at an adequate speed. Positive experience overall, I'd recommend interviewing with them if the company interests you.

Situational questions - "how do you handle a tough client?"
"What makes a good project manager?"
"How many projects do you handle at a time and how do you prioritize deadlines and work?"

I went through multiple rounds of interviews for this role, including detailed discussions with several team members over a 4-month timeline process. The process culminated in a reference check, which typically indicates that a hiring decision is close.
After my references were contacted, I received an automated rejection email with no feedback or explanation beyond a long silence and no responses from the HR on my follow-ups.
Requesting references is not a minor step. It involves professional reputational capital and should only occur when a company is prepared to make a near-final decision. To follow that with a generic automated rejection reflects poor hiring governance and a lack of respect for candidates’ time and networks.
Additionally, the role has continued to be reposted not automatically but by the hiring manager and other team members, which raises questions about internal alignment and decision-making.
Candidates should be aware that even late-stage progression does not necessarily indicate serious hiring intent.

Once again, another company that does not give any feedback.
1. Phone screen with TA: all good, I have the experience and the skills they required.
2. Hiring manager interview: quite good, we understood each other, we complemented each other answers, all good.
3. Panel with 4 people: received super good feedback on this one, the HM even said she was impressed with my background and that the specific experience I have could benefit them for the specific project they were hiring for. She told me to wait for an answer in a couple of days.
4. One week later, an email from a "no-reply email" saying: "At this time, we have decided to pursue other candidates who more closely align with the needs of our business". And that was it.
I know really close to my heart that I could have been an amazing employee for Granicus, I could have been an impressive ambassador for their vision as I share it as well in a personal level. However, the impersonal nature of their communication, sending rejections from a 'no-reply' email, tells me that employees are just parts in their machine, rather than valued contributors. It's a missed opportunity for both.

I had a 30mins call with a kind Recruter. He started by telling me about the hiring stages, the organization, what Granicus offers, then he explained a bit more the position (Project Manager) then he asked me about my other jobs, as I was talking about what my reponsibilities were he asked follow-up questions. Lastly he asked about my salary expectation, I said $2500/month, next morning I received an email saying I was not moving forward,
