Call with the recruiter, followed by conversation with the hiring manager, and then a 4hr 45min on-site including two 15 minute breaks. The conversations I had tended to be a little awkward. People talked slow with big pauses. It was mostly fine, but I had asked what coding environment they would use, or if I needed to prep anything on my end. I was told to make sure I could clone a repo, so I assumed that would be a project we would work off of. Wrong. My interviewers came in expecting me to have a project scaffolded with a tool I had never used, which refused to work properly on my computer. If only I had asked what I would need so I could prepare and make sure everything worked fine. Oh wait, I did. I felt ambushed. And on top of that, I was expected to use a framework that I had not been using, in a way I had never used it before. As far as I was concerned, that interview was over before it began, and I just wanted my time back.

Worst Interview process in the world!!! After sending an email invite to come onsite for interviews and setting up the schedule, got an email from recruiter that they are not moving forward with me. This is the worst interview experience ever. Don't trust HR! ratings 1/10
