First stage was a telephone interview which lasted about 20 minutes. Fairly straightforward questions about my interest in the role, what I knew about the industry, role, company etc. More of a general introduction about the role so nothing to intense. However I was kept waiting for the phone to ring for 5-10 mins after the designated start time which seemed unprofessional. Following this stage I was asked to fill in an online questionnaire and invited for a one-to-one interview with the founder of the company in Macclesfield. This lasted about 45 minutes and mainly consisted of questions regarding my experience, knowledge of the role/industry, general commercial awareness of business issues, some competency questions and my expectations for the future. Again this was fairly straightforward and nothing too intimidating. About 2-3 weeks later I was informed by telephone I hadn't got the role, although they were unable to give me any feedback as to why as it hadn't been passed to the right person. Overall the experience was okay. It the process seemed a little disorganised.

Intially a phone interview to get to know you a bit better. Then a second interview to understand your suitability for the role and previous experience. The last interview was with one of the C-suite members who asked competency and situational based questions.
