The company first called me for a telephonic interview, was told they would call back, week later they did. I had another telephonic interview, then another at which point was told that I should send my personal documents VIA E-mail. Then was informed that they we would be back in touch after the License check and Background check. Was informed that I would be headed to another town to do a ride along and they would call me back with the details. A week and a half later and I contacted them was told they were holding off for operational reasons. I hold a Secret Clearance and have NOTHING that would preclude me from getting the position. The next day saw the job being posted again. I fully understand if I am not what they are looking for. I find it disturbing the lack of honesty and to be strung along for over a month and turned down several other offers for interviews, They made me feel like I had the job. My wife and I were excited for the opportunity and were extremely let down by the lack of professionalism we received from the company.
