Phone interview with the recruiter, face to face interview with potential manager followed by technical skills exam and then a phone interview with the director. The face to face interview was fairly relaxed, almost like a casual chat. The skills test wasnt too bad, I would brush up beforehand.

I was told they use a 3 stage interview process with a 2 hour tech test.
The first interview was a casual 1:1 interview, we discussed the role, company history, my work background and why I wanted the position.
I heard back within a few days that they wanted me to attend a 2nd interview with the 3 heads of the department and to then take the tech test. Only two of the managers attended the 2nd interview, the 3rd was away on maternity leave.
The 2nd interview went well and again was quite informal, we discussed the role in more detail and I was able to ask a good number of questions. I had intended on doing the tech test at this stage but was told it had not been configured yet and I would need to come again to do the test if I made the next stage.
I attended the 3rd interview a few weeks later which was a one to one meeting. When I arrived for the interview I got the impression they were not expecting me, nothing appeared to be ready and I was left in the meeting room for 30 minutes watching everyone in the office get ready for the days work ahead. The interview itself was very rushed, I was asked only two very vague questions before being asked if I had any questions. I managed to get a few questions in, however, I got the impression that the manager had other work to do and was in a hurry. I mentioned I was supposed to be taking the tech test and was told again that it was not ready.
I came away from the 3rd interview confused wondering if I had got the date or time wrong but upon checking everything appeared to be correct. Due to the xmas period it took a few weeks to get feedback from the 3rd interview. I was told they wouldn't be hiring me but they couldn't give me a reason yet although it was clear there were issues with the 3rd interview. I asked for some constructive feedback but haven't heard anything back since.
Up until the last stage of the interview I thought things were going well and it appeared as though Greenfields would be a wonderful place to work, however, the last interview came across very unprofessional. I wonder if maybe the position had been filled or was no longer available at the time of the interview.
After attending 3 interviews I feel as though they could have taken the time to give me some kind of feedback which could be used in further interviews.

They were general questions about my work history and interests in IT. There were no specific technical questions, these were apparently left to the mythical tech test

The 1st interview was face to face - I spoke the head of the service desk, went through my CV and discussed experience and the role. It was relaxed and went well. I went back a few days later to write a technical test, this took about an hour and 45 minutes. I then went for a face to face with the head of IT and the MD, it took about an hour and was going through my CV again and discussing some of the issues I'd run into over the years. Finally I went for a face to face interview with a new manager who had just started and one of the other 3rd line Engineers. I also attended drinks at a pub with some of the staff. After the final interview I wanted for 2 weeks to hear back, the recruiter kept chasing them but kept getting told that one of the managers was unavailable to give feedback. Eventually they reported that they were not offering as I seemed very technical but they were worried about my client facing ability, which is strange as I always get congratulated on my client facing and the majority of my experience is in client facing roles.
