Applied for a new store opening, by sending on my resume and later that same day was emailed by the lead guide to set up a phone interview for the next day, and after the phone interview set up an in person interview. The phone interivew didn't take long, about 15 minutes at the most and then we set up an in person interview for the next day. The in person interview took about 45 minutes. With the lead guide asking the pretty normal interview questions, like tell me about a time you had to deal with an angry customer and so on. I then heard back about a week later that I got the job, just had to get a background check and sign the paperwork which was all done over e-mail and online.

Completely ridiculous. The first thing the interviewer, Lexis, told me was that this was the first phone interview she's ever done. She asked 4 questions and then set up an in person meeting at Starbucks for the following Saturday. 5 hours later she sent me an email saying she had hired someone. When I replied with a question about the meeting on Saturday I received no response.
