I recently applied for a position through Naukri.com, and the entire recruitment process took approximately 10-15 days. Initially, I received a call from a recruiter who provided an overview of the job role and requirements, and asked some basic questions on Linux and SQL, which I successfully answered. Later that day, an HR representative contacted me to schedule an interview, which was set for two days later.
I joined the interview meeting promptly at the scheduled time, but no interviewer appeared. After waiting for the entire duration, HR informed me that the interviewer was out of the country and rescheduled the interview for the following day. The same issue occurred the next day, with HR rescheduling once again. On the third attempt, the interviewer joined at the last minute and asked basic questions on Linux, SQL, and some resume-based queries, which I was able to answer successfully. Following this, HR notified me that I had cleared the first round and scheduled a second round of interviews.
The second round was marred by the same lack of organization. Despite my expectations that the interview went well, continuous follow-ups with HR ended with the information that I was not selected.
The unprofessional and disorganized nature of this company's hiring process is highly disappointing. The repeated rescheduling and poor communication reflect a lack of respect for candidates' time and efforts. I strongly advise others to reconsider investing their time in the recruitment process of this organization.
