Depending on how in need the school is and how many applicants the school has for the position, I have found that the difficultly of interview questions changes as well as the timeliness with which you hear back. My first position I was interviewed for, I was accepted on the spot and the questions were very basic (like you might find after a google search). That school was in dire need of teachers (and a rough school it was indeed). Other schools that I interviewed with asked me questions about data collection using many of the programs that teachers use, my knowledge of CKLA, MTSS, classroom management techniques, etc. If there is a principal that you know that you could ask for possible interview questions before you begin applying, I'd reach out to them. Otherwise, my advice is that if you have a school in mind that you really really want to teach at, do not make that your first GCS interview. Interview at a couple of other schools to get the practice and a feel for the questions they may ask. The only downside to that is you still want to move fairly quickly. There are many positions open, but "better" schools get gobbled up very fast.
