I was provided a PDF with 8 tasks. 4 mandatory and 4 optional. It was mentioned on PDF that do send your work no matter how much tasks you attempted because they want to see your approach
As a full time employee elsewhere, I managed to complete 3/4 mandatory tasks and since optional were optional I couldn't do them due to limited time. Hoping them to judge me from the 3 completed tasks
I got response from CEO in which he made absolutely no mention of the 3 tasks I completed, rather the #1 reason of rejecting me was not doing any optional tasks. I mean optional were as bonus, come on at least check the ones I attempted. The 2nd reason was the 4th task I didn't do - alright, I mentioned I did 3 tasks but he talks about 4th one (ridiculous). Furthermore, they mentioned they are looking someone 'more dedicated'. As if doing 3 complex tasks out of 4 was lesser dedication. We are fulltime employees and can only do what we can do in limited time. We should be judged on what we sent but that had absolutely no mention.
These are not legit reasons to reject someone and I don't advice working for them
CEO Dogan is being unfair here
