I applied online. It took me a month to go through four rounds of interviews, starting with 2 phone interviews, 1 technical challenge (built a web app), and eventually an onsite. I enjoyed all the interviews and liked the people I've met.
After the onsite interview, "We'll get back to you very soon," they said. That did not happen. I asked and was told they were still interviewing people. Okay, reasonable. So I waited a month to send a follow up, and was told that I'd be given a result the following week. Then starting that week, when the decision was supposedly made, they just never replied to my email again.
I'm honestly fine with being rejected. There's nothing wrong about rejecting people. However I find it extremely disrespectful that they did not bother to inform me of their decision, especially when I went through all the interviews and even met the team. I spent a lot of time preparing, working on the challenge, and I spent money booking a hotel to travel to their headquarter. The least thing I expect from a good company is that you treat your candidates with respect.
Overall very disappointed.
