The process was long, inefficient, and at times not transparent. I made it to the fourth round + a lengthy project only to find out I didn't have enough experience with their email service provider. We all could have saved hours of time if we had a more thorough discussion prior to quickly launching into the project/assignment.
I have been interviewing a lot the past 4 months, and to me Gusto's interview process was the least refined / most inefficient process I've partaken in. I am no longer interested in Gusto as a result.
Advice to Gusto: replace the 6hr project with a 1hr quiz, and be more upfront/transparent with salary.
