I applied online and met with the manager within the next week. He asked me about my cashier expiereienc? How much money I was responsible for? My involvment in the community. Why do you want to work at HEB? Why do you think you will be good at the job?

What would your last employer say that is negative in front of you
It was an online format. Personal video recording responding to basic interview prompts. There was also a small competency examination to test for basic math and reading skills as well as some personality questions.

The interview process was pretty straightforward, I got in on a staffing agency that was hiring to fill positions for a new store opening. I had a group interview, then a one on one interview and was offered a position.
