Back-to-back interviewing, I was asked questions from a checklist and it felt like an assembly line. The interviewer was not very engaged, and did not seem particularly interested in my carefully prepared answers. Since I had successfully completed the HR Block class, it was assumed I would be offered a job, although my application was lost in bureacracy and took some follow-up to secure the offer.

First, I was asked some questions about my career background and why I was interested in the position. Then I was given some scenarios related to customer service, I had to explain how I would handle the situation. The interviewer made sure that I was acknowledged the role is seasonal.

HR and manager together. Tell about yourself, your hobby. Ask your tax experience, how you feel to do tax by yourself. How flexible in tax season. And which location you prefer to work, do you mind to work other locations.

It was very easy over the phone interview. Once I applied I reviewed a call in less than 48 hours. She walked me through everything and set me up for class which is 6 wks long.
