Applied for position, later received a message that they were excited to schedule a phone screen. During the phone screen I was asked irrelevant questions a number of times that had nothing to do with the position such as, "Why don't you want to be apart of the industry you are in right now". We talked more about my previous job and why I wanted to leave the industry than the actual job I was applying for. At one point he asked me to rate my marketing skills between 1-10, I rated myself high because I am confident in them and what I can provide to a team, I then proceeded to talk about how I believed I could make their social media stronger. The interviewer became very defensive and upset with my answer and replied with "I would have preferred you to say a 3 because we are looking for people who want to learn" and then told me this wasn't going to work and became very rude. I believe I rated myself correctly because I am confident in my abilities, I am hard working and believe I can offer a lot to any team, with that being said I never once said I wasn't willing to learn whatsoever, I am very eager to learn and I even clarified that. In conclusion they are not looking for serious people, they want someone they can mold who will not outshine them. Do not recommend working here.

Honestly the most unprofessional and uncomfortable interviews I've ever been on. Owner tried to intimidate, undermine, control, and manipulate his fellow interviewers and myself. He even made a sexist comment, telling his two female associates to smile at me. He ended up dismissing me out of the interview because I spoke up about his behavior. Times are changing, and what was tolerated before in the workplace is shifting. I recommend the owner keep up with the cultural shift towards basic human decency. RESPECT.
