Entrevista
Approached by one of their recruiters. She doesn't had any idea of their hiring process. She asked me to reach their office for a face to face interview at 11 AM on a saturday. I asked recruiter how long it would take. She said probably an hour or two. I reached exactly at 10.50 AM and there I came to know it is kind of a drive in with 100+ applicants waiting. They weren't following any sequence and just randomly picking someone for the process. I sat for 5 HOURS!!! Then around 4 PM they called me. Then I came to know they were taking 1 hour of assessment followed by 2 interviews. There again I waited for another 30 minutes until one of there systems were free. The platform they were using to conduct test was horrible as well. It took 3 attempts for me to just open the test as the site was just going to a blank page whenever I was logging. After 5 PM I started my test by which time I was mentally and physically exhausted and just wanted to go home. There were 4 sections 15 mins each. C#, Microservices, SQL and UI as per your choice. Questions in C# were not related to something I use on daily basis or even used in years. They asked about deconstruct, records etc. Few were easy too but most questions were as if we were giving college exams. Somehow I scored 57. In Microservices it was theoretical questions typically from Load balancer, monolithic to micoservice comparisons, distributed systems etc. Scored 39. SQL was mostly fine with few things never even heard of. Scored 80. And Angular was pretty basic if you are a proper UI developer which I'm not. Score 47. It was around 6.30 when I completed my test. Most of the interviewer have went home. The coordinator was literally begging someone to take my interview and complete it quickly so they all could leave. All this happening in front of my face. Finally one came. He asked if at least one round interview happened or not. When I said no his expression changed, winning how he is sitting for whole day. My interview hardly went for 15 to 20 minutes and he said it's done so please wait. I saw him leave for home just after the interview. I waited another 5-10 minutes when the coordinator informed no panel is available now so we would reach to you next week on Monday. I didn't even ask anything and just left immediately after around 7.15 PM.
