Applied online via the HCA Career website and about a month later the hiring manager e-mailed me to schedule an interview for the following week. The interview was by phone because the role was virtual work from home. The questions were standard, and the interview lasted between 40 to 45 minutes. I thought things went really well and the hiring manager said she like my responses and that I asked great questions too. She seemed very nice, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. But… then I was GHOSTED. I never received a response to the two quick follow up e-mails I sent. About 3 weeks after the interview, I received the rejection letter.
I really don’t understand why I was ghosted and then rejected. Especially considering I have many years experience as a Cash Poster and there were a couple of vacant positions. Previously, I have applied to other positions within my skill set and was able to land a couple of interviews, but the outcome was the same – ghosted and then received a rejection e-mail. I doubt I will be applying for any other open roles at HCA.
