A very important thing that I learned from interview at HCL.
Always reach out to the person who has invited you for interview, in any case.
During interview at HCL, I was personally invited my company's HR for interview process. But when I reached the venue, few people who were sitting and collecting resume and looked like HRs of the company took my profile and sent me to an ODC where interview was conducted. After clearing the first round I was informed that the interview is for Contract-To-Hire role. On further questioning it was found that the people who took my profile where from a vendor's company and they misdirected me.
On the same day HCL was conducting 2 interview rounds, one for permanent role and another for contract and I was unfortunate to enter the wrong panel for interview.
Even after clearing a round of interview, my candidature was invalid for permanent role.

written test and then followed by a technical discussions. the written test is on IKM with the 40 questions on python and django. Mostly concentrated on python list list comprehensions regular expressions file i/o yeild and enumatate questions. classes and functions too
