I got a call from consultancy and scheduled on Saturday electronic city Bangalore. Properly arranged by HCL HR. They collected CV and told us to wait and then they called for first round which was telephonic in their office. They was looking for functional consultant but while interviewing, interviewer was also looking for technical script knowledge.

i was interviewed for sales and distribution. Questions are sales and purchase order types, sales order processing steps, item types, detail about generic item type, Cycle for projects, why backflusing for certain items in BOM.
Not so easy selection process. Coding to be done in a third party system. Interview questions are very basic. Asking about if any previous experience handling cloud based projects and challenges faced.
The interview process was smooth, and I was interviewed thoroughly. They did check my skill sets and what value I will bring to the project or the organization. I was also offered a competitive salary
Interviews are good with average level of questions. HCL worries only when it gives hike to the employees. No hike or single digit hike wont give enough career growth which affect you at the long run.
