Fui entrevistado pela HCLTech (Chennai) em dez. de 2014
Entrevista
i had attended a Off campus drive of HCL which was conducted by Aspiring minds on 6th and 8th dec 2014 at SMK Fomra Institute of technology,Chennai .Little did i know about the cruelty and harsh reality i was about to face then. They conducted an AMCAT test on 6th dec which i found very easy and cleared it without much of a problem. The next round which was a technical round was about to be conducted on Monday. I went there early and was waiting for my chance .But it was not difficult to notice that some people were given preferential treatment by the ASPIRING MINDS employees. Some people were called early and those people were clearly made to go the one particular room of interviewers. As i was watching it unfold in front of me . I did not have any doubts or anything. As luck turned out to be , i was also assigned to the same room .I was confident in myself as i had good knowledge and even work experience where as other people did not have any.So i go in and explain about myself and where i studied, where i lived and all those stuffs, then i was asked about my project which i was able to explain in detail .Meanwhile i was well versed in SQL and R Prograaming which i had clearly mentioned on my resume. But i was waiting for them to ask me anything related to technical .But nothing not a single technical question they ask,not even a single simple syntax. For everyone over there ,the results were immediately announced whether they were selected or not .The earlier group of students who had been particularly brought to this room by the aspiring employees were told immediately that they were selected but for me alone they asked me to wait,In fact i was the only one who was asked to wait.I was little perturbed for making me to wait so long and i noticed that only very few had been rejected in my room that being the reason because all the preferential candidates were brought here and after 2 hours of waiting ,they tell me that i'am not selected and i was mentally broken to say the least and when i asked the aspiring employee the reason for not selecting me .He told my communication skills were good but my technical skills were bad it seems.I really do not know how they managed to find my technical skill was bad without even asking a single question.I just found the whole thing to be a farce and spam .It felt as if they just conducted my interview for fun .I just wasted a day of my life and my day's pay by attending this interview.I cant blame the HCL company but the Aspiring minds company which help them recruit people continues in the same way, then the company HCL is not going to get better if not worse.I just hope some people realise that they are mentally scarring a student and pulling down an individual when things like this happen.I can give one advice,If you find an HCL interview conducted by Aspiring Minds ,dont attend it if u dont have any referrals or you know someone over here ,It's just a complete a waste of time and if u know anyone over there.Just go and attend for fun,You can surely get placed in HCL.

No Technical questions were asked which was the problem.
The interview process was simple and beginner friendly. Most of the questions were basic Java concepts, discussion about projects done in college, and a simple coding question. The interviewers were friendly and focused more on understanding problem-solving approach and communication skills rather than asking very difficult technical questions.

One of the main things they asked was about OOPs concepts in Java, such as inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation. They also asked to explain these concepts with simple real-time examples. Apart from that, there were questions about college projects and one basic coding problem.
