The interview required an IQ test and two face to face meetings, however never interviewed with my direct reporting manager, nor did they arrange for a phone interview despite my request. Despite this, I had accepted the job offer. Later, I asked whether we could push back the start date, on behalf of my current employer. HME politely declined, which was fine. Then, the last business day prior to my start date, I learned that my offer had been rescinded. I felt mistreated at that moment in time and very stressed. I also feel like I dodged a bullet if that is how they treat people. Perhaps the number of negative Glassdoor reviews should have been a red flag. I wish them the best but this does not seem like a good place to work.
