For the technical aptitude writing test it is best to know linux commands (zombie process, grep, monitor commands,etc) and sql for insert and delete and select

One HR interview then technical then the final interview then I got an offer letter and I accepted. they asked about my past experiences, and why I want this job.

It was a 2 day process. hiring procedure was first telephonic round with hiring manager and after that face to face round. it was below the level of easy. there were some questions from Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Unix, SDLC, ITIL. After that i have been assured that will get salary discussion call from HR department, but didn't receive any call yet.
i would say about HSBC that very unprofessional and lazy staff company.
