What steps did you take and what was the resolution. They already knew who they wanted to hire for the position. Posting the position is just a required formality to avoid litigation.

Applied via Email. Next step was online interview. Use skype like process rather than a one on one interview. Was odd but not bad. The process was quite simple via my laptop.
