I was contacted on my mobile phone by DNA (Daily News and Analysis) newspaper for a vacancy in their new edition in Indore, which was launched in June 2011. I was offered the post of Chief City Reporter, which is equivalent to that of a Bureau Chief. I was interviewed by the then Resident Editor, who had flown into the city to conduct the interview.
