Entrevista
I applied on a Sunday night and received a call the next morning about coming in for an interview. I arrived about 10-15 minutes early and was told to browse the store since the manager was interviewing someone else. I waited well over the scheduled interview time. The interview itself was incredibly casual and the manager didn't ask me a lot of questions. I had been very excited to talk about books because I am obsessed with them. I read at least 5 new books a month. The manager talked with me more about video games, which I don't have much knowledge of, than about books, movies and music. The interview lasted less than 15 minutes. I left it feeling incredibly discouraged because I felt he did not get a feel for my personality at all. All in all, this was one of the worst interviews I have ever experienced.
Was a fairly standard retail job interview. Asked about previous retail experience, challenging situations, and also asked about your favorite media or books. Wasn't a particularly challenging interview if you've worked retail before. Didn't last long at all, probably around 20 minutes.

What was a difficult situation that you had with a customer and how did you resolve it?
Very straightforward they ask question and as about your background and what kind of media, books, and movies you like. Just be yourself and personable and you’re good. They also go over your resume so make Sure you know what to say and what your wrote. Very friendly!
Easy, straight to the point, very casual. They walk you to the office in the back room and it’s more like a casual conversation than anything. Management is really nice and had a good amount of laughs throughout. They ask if you specialize in a certain topic as well (what books do you read)
