They first called me to ensure that I was still interested and make sure that I was aware that I could be working in North Dakota, in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone coverage. I agreed and told them that I was aware and still interested. I was then contacted and flown to Wyoming the next week for an interview. I got in the night before and was put up in a hotel and then they interviewed me the next morning at 10am. They asked me questions like "Why do you want to work for Halliburton?" "What do you know about the mwd position and why do you want to be an mwd?" "Do you have any prior experience with machinery?" "Do you have any safety training? Have you ever worn safety equipment for a job?" "Have you ever seen someone doing something unsafe in the workplace? How did you react to that situation?" "Have you ever had a conflict with a fellow coworker? How did you work to resolve the conflict?"
