It was all done in the same day. You watch a video of a crime a couple of times and you then have to write a report on the questions given to you i.e. what are the next steps in the investigation, how would you deal with the community impact. The report is timed.
After, you get given a scenario which you can briefly plan the answer to the question I.e. prioritize the points that need to be done on this case.
Straight after, you then go to an interview room and the interview starts. They will ask you about your answer to the scenario and why. After, they then ask you about the essential criteria which will be in the job advert. This is where you can use past job scenarios etc. Overall, I had a really positive experience. Although very fast paced and difficult to plan beforehand, it wasn't as scary and difficult as expecting. You are told what will happen next and the process is explained during the day.
