A bit more respect, transparency and professionalism to candidates would go a long way. HR cancelled the screening call 10 minutes before when I checked in to confirm and pushed the call out by 2.5 weeks (very surprised as they claim the company is moving fast and keen to hire soon). Second time HR didn’t join in time and had to follow up with an email. HR was nice but disengaged. For instance, didn’t walk through the expectation and logistics (I.e. job authorization) until I asked. I suspected that the job was filled by then or there was a shift in business needs, so HR was aware that the conversation wouldn’t go far. However, if this was the case, some transparency and respect to candidates’ time would be much appreciated.

Recruiter screening and behavioral were very standard. Tell me about your time in a project, tell me about a time when something went wrong, etc. Just read anything about behavioral interviews and you’ll do well. The case was excel. Way easier than I thought it would be.
