Upon arrival, they have you take an personality/math test. I am not the best at math, and the job posting said nothing about being skilled in that area so I found it to be irrelevant. Once the personality/math test was complete, I was brought in to interview with the CEO, Brian Elias. The first question he asked me was "who is the president of the united states"? I answered, Donald Trump. He then asked me who the vice president was..I drew a blank..I was put on the spot, and was not expecting political questions. He then asked who the previous vice president was since I could not remember the current...I drew a blank for the previous VP as well. He replied, "he was VP for 8 years and you don't know his name"??? Feeling embarrassed, I then remembered the current VP and answered "Mike Pence". The interview then continued with the question "what would you do different if you were president"? - I answered. Brian then proceeded to tell me that it sounds like I am "ANTI-Trump". I felt that this was TOTALLY unprofessional as he has no right to speak of my political views during an INTERVIEW. He then took a look at the math part of the test that I took prior to the interview. He told me that I am terrible at math and threw out more math problems on the spot to reiterate the fact that I was terrible at math. He told me on the spot that I did not get the position, which I honestly was not planning on taking if offered to me due to how disrespectful of a person that he was throughout my interview. Lastly, he sent me off by promoting his new restaurant that he opened and giving me two "appetizer vouchers"... I can honestly say that it was the worst interview experience I've ever encountered. I was asked NOTHING about my experience with administrative work or social media marketing. It was bizarre, I felt as if I had interviewed for the wrong position, but that wasn't the case. I hope for his sake and the sake of those working for him that I caught him on a bad day and that this is out of character for him.

I got a call from someone in HR asking if I wanted to come in for an interview. I was interested in the position so I said yes and they wanted me to come in within the next hour. Luckily, I was able to. When I got there I was asked to take an extensive skills test including math and spelling. I was then taken upstairs to meet with Brian. He was in the middle of a meeting with two other men so I was asked to sit in a random chair in the middle of the hallway. Brian then came out and say down next to me (in the middle of the hallway) I was not expecting my interview to be done out in the open like that and it made me uncomfortable. He then asked me about my past work experience and kept tell me "I can tell you hated it by the look on your face" or "I can tell it stressed you out by your body language" which made me super uncomfortable. He never asked me anything that had to do with the role I was applying for. It was so bad I almost got up and left in the middle of the interview. The CEO of 1800 Handson's was very unprofessional.
