I was contacted by their HR team. She was quite helpful in explaining all the work Harness is doing. She scheduled a video call for 2 hours. Joined on time but interviewer was late. Informed same to HR and she told to join after 10 mins. Joined back after 10 mins and interviewer also joined after couple of minutes. No basic courtesy interviewer had to at least apologize for the delay. Then interview started and he said one line in his intro with proud "I am principle engineer here" and then he passed on to me and asked my detailed intro :P. So much of attitude for being a principle engineer (Even CEO gives little more intro.) After my intro he started asking questions. His voice was not clear though and i was facing problem in understanding his expectations hence i asked few questions to understand his expectations. I felt that he is getting irritated with my questions. Anyway i was able to answer 1st few questions correctly. While answering i also noticed that after my answer he used to put a new condition (which was not told at the start of question) and made my answer look like wrong. After 2-3 questions he said he is running out of time (btw his calendar was blocked for 2 hours for this interview. Dont know how did he run out of time ). Just a suggestion as a candidate : Please treat a candidate as you want to be treated. You are working in small startup and not in google. Please dont have that much attitude. Also dont just judge any candidate by just one answer.

Interviewer was very rude. Like the other review says he is from a failed logistic startup where they treat employees as slaves. He started saying I can't afford your salary and I feel this job role doesn't deserve this much salary. I had told the HR about my current salary and expectation. ITs waste of time. God bless Harness. only good thing about this company is Jyothi Bansal who is a brand and rockstar. But India team needs a better leader.
