I got referred by a current employee and interviewed by the professor of the course that I applied weeks before the semester. The professor needs the TA to be highly engaged to this class and are able to arrange flexible schedules to fit in the need of the class.

Very straightforward, just talked to the professor for 30 minutes to explain some concepts, tested basic abilities to answer students' question and teach basic concepts, and also more about why you want the job, what is your passion in teaching and what is the most important element in teaching

I received an email about the positioning opening, and reached out through a provided email address with my resume. I was asked to interview, which took place over Zoom. The interview was quick, only lasting about 20 minutes.
