Got called to come in for interview next day. No prescreening questions which was the first red flag. Second was to come in -most or all interviews are virtual now. Went in and Tam and Omar were both cordial and easy to talk with. The only interview question there was was "tell me about your experience". Then he said the job is yours if you want it we work on a draw which is $3000 per month if you hit $85,000 in monthly sales. I asked what the targets are each month. They did not really know and then I asked the commission rate -5% across sundries but everything else is a fixed amount. For example, equipment commissions is only $500 per sale which works out to be less than 3% commissions. So no target each month and no set commission or top up commission structure since theres no set target or any real numbers given to me aside from that "one rep made a million in sales!". But that has no value to me because if he's not even getting 5% commissions on these sales he's getting screwed. Also they have a standard of hitting 15-20 dental offices a day. For the amount of work involved there needs to be better pay structure specifically -a higher base. Also no health benefits offered, no car allowance but they pay 70 cents per km which has to be logged and is also tracked against the GPS you have on your company phone -the only "perk".
