I interviewed for a fulltime role while freelancing at the same agency. After a lot of back and forth, it became clear that senior management was playing games and had no intent on hiring me for the role. They were just stringing me along so that I keep freelancing. The offer they gave me was insulting and the role was several levels lower than what I was actually interviewing for, as was the compensation .
