Standard interview, background questions about my experience etc. At the end of the interview, they wanted to know if I could interview with Sr. management two days later or early the next week. I deferred until the following week. A few days later my in-person interview was set with Sr. management. I was notified the day before the interview they were canceling the interview due to 'changing strategy'. During the phone interview, I asked I was interviewing for a role that was new or had a predecessor. I was told it was a new role and they tried to fill it for the past five months (yellow flag warning) even though the position was not posted on their website. The recruiter was nice, slightly hurried, I suspect it was a result of trying to appease management but I got impression company does not know what they are doing (at best) or resume 'tire kickers' at worst.
