The Havenly designer onboarding process consists of a few structured steps designed to evaluate your design skills, communication, and readiness to work with clients on the platform. Here is a breakdown of the typical process:
Initial Application
You submit an online form with your resume, portfolio, and basic background details.
Video Submission
You are asked to record a short video introducing yourself and explaining your design experience, style, and motivation for joining Havenly.
Design Case Study
You complete a sample project where you demonstrate your ability to create a cohesive interior design concept, typically including moodboards, furniture selections, and layout visuals.
This step tests your design taste, understanding of client needs, and familiarity with sourcing from U.S. vendors.
Information Session
You attend an online group session where the Havenly team explains how the platform works, expectations, timelines, tools used, and how commissions and client flow are managed.
Enrollment
If selected, you are invited to finalize your onboarding, sign an independent contractor agreement, and begin your journey as a Havenly Designer.
