I applied online for an out of state position and was fairly surprised to receive a call from the recruiter; They scheduled 2 rounds of phone screens to be sure before I was flown in for a in person. I felt the phone screens were tougher than in person as they were more detailed ; I met the hiring manager in person when I flew in along with his manager.
