      Entrevista

      The online application process was very easy and was probably the fastest application I have ever completed in my life--all that was required was basic demographic information, a resume, answering CA employer law questions and that was it. The recruiter then contacted me via email to arrange a phone screen, and after our conversation we scheduled an in-person interview. So far, so good, and the recruiter I worked with at Health IQ was fantastic; however, the in person interview with the executive I had was negative. I read some of the other interviews with Health IQ prior to mine, and found there was a common theme of the interviewers asking questions that could be interpreted as condescending, arrogant, and off-putting. I found this to be true of my interview as well. Perhaps I sounded negative about why I was interested in leaving my current job, and didn't spin a more positive sounding narrative which resulted in the interview turning sour, but ultimately it was not a pleasant experience. I understand that the interviewer's job is to vet potential candidates, but the line of questioning and the way in which this was handled was very off-putting. I find it interesting that this company has such glowing reviews about working there, but there have been several people that have had negative interview experiences with management, which strikes me as somewhat incongruous.
