I was given less than three days notice of my interview, notification was via text message at 1230 Tuesday for an interview on the Friday. There was no time given for it, just a date with an option to accept and be given a time or withdraw from the process. I’ve never had less than seven days notice for an interview since I started working in offices. The advert and application process had a number of red flags and this final expectation that I’d just drop everything to interview with practically no notice was the last straw and felt very disrespectful. The interview was for a senior professional role, and I found the process to be very unprofessional. So having had two telephone conversations with a terrible HR shared services, one of which offered to move my interview forward to less than 24 hours notice and I having explained I hold a senior exec role and can’t just vanish at no notice my interview offer was withdrawn.
