Long process with many stages, including a case study. Prepare for very little communication. I had to constantly follow up after different interviews and if I hadn’t, I doubt I would’ve heard anything. For a job that has such a poor salary, the interview process is a joke. I have nothing against being rejected for a job, but would be nice to be told that you’re no longer up for consideration instead of being ghosted after explicitly being told that I would be informed even if I did not get the job. I understand candidates can get lost in bigger companies, but it really is no excuse for a company of this size.

I applied online for a position in Colorado and was contacted about a week later for a phone interview. The phone interview was the following week with a senior manager in the position. The first issue I found with this company was lack of transparency. I applied for a position in Denver, which I later came to find out they do not even have an office in Denver. They claim the office is in Denver, but is really more than an hour outside the city. The first part of the interview was basic get to know you questions followed by a set of accounting based questions that first focused on intro accounting courses and ended with more advanced financial questions. After the interview, the interviewer stated he would review the phone call with his boss tomorrow and get back to me early next week. After two weeks, I had not heard back from them so I reached out for further inquiry. Within an hour they had offered me to come in and take additional excel tests and placement tests for the position (I assume to see if i was qualified and would fit in well with the company) but it had seemed like they completely forgot they were even hiring for this position until I followed up with them. I declined the offer for second interview because the lack of leadership, transparency, processes, ethics and overall organization. Seems like a company that says one thing and does another. Not a company I would be comfortable working for especially in the Healthcare industry where many of their actions ethical or unethical will have a vast impact on the industry and their clients.
