Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 5 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Healthcare Outcomes Performance.
Entrevista
A series of virtual interviews with a few different teammates both on the team and in other departments that I'd be working with. There was frequent communication between interviews and the team did a good job at answering the majority of my questions about the role in the earlier conversations, but couldn't answer any questions about benefits and never got back to me with answers.
I received a verbal offer with a "TBD" start date. Weeks went by between follow ups and no one could tell me when my official start date would be. It started as May, then it was mid-summer, then it was end of summer, then it was radio silence. After all of the time spent learning about the company and meeting various team members, it is incredibly disrespectful to completely ghost a candidate after months of conversations and a verbal offer.
There’s some great people that work here, but it doesn’t seem like they have a clear vision of what direction they’re going in. There has been quite a few M&As so it makes sense that hiring is paused, but to lead on a candidate for 5 months without clear communication is unacceptable.
Candidatei-me por meio de uma agência de recrutamento. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Healthcare Outcomes Performance (Londres, Inglaterra) em ago. de 2025
Entrevista
I interviewed through a recruiter at Revolution Technologies. The first step was an introductory call with the recruiter to confirm that the role aligned with what I was looking for (remote, healthtech/mission-driven, reasonable salary — the role listed £75k–£85k) and matched my experience (iOS development).
Next, my resume was shared with the company’s CTO for review. I was then asked to complete a written questionnaire with several behavior-style questions (for example, how I handle code review and debugging). The questionnaire was 5 pages long with a total of 8 questions, each with a 300-word limit.
Following this, I had a 30-minute Zoom interview with the CTO, Tim Closs.
The next stage was a take-home technical assignment. They asked for a simple iOS app that would read a JSON file and display the data. The instructions estimated 4–6 hours of work and required implementing best practices and two separate UI implementations (both SwiftUI and UIKit).
After submitting the assignment, I received written feedback indicating that the process would not move forward.
