I was contacted to schedule an interview and was given the names of two associates one of which I would be interviewing with. I went to the interview and the who went in before me was finished within 5-10 minutes. My interview lasted about 20 mins. The first question I was asked was so Tell me about yourself. After that I was asked very basic practical questions based upon the things I said in response to the first question. At some point I was asked what I was doing at my current firm ie whether I had made court appearances etc. The interviewer then explained what they would require of me i.e primarily appearances in Landlord/tenant court (which is a horrible place that experienced attorneys would never want to go). The culture seemed somewhat relaxed. There is only one elevator from the office and it took about 10 minutes to come up on my way out.
