I was told to talk through portfolio, self-introduction, and was asked with some logistical questions, mostly based on my circumstances, when the interview goes on. no stress and can talk straightforwardly. Be yourself and act cool

I had an interview with Henning Larsen in New York through the Career Fair at my school. It was very relaxed, and the interviewers were very friendly. However, after a few rounds of exchanging emails, they rejected a few people and me because we couldn't start right after graduation. They wanted to hire someone who could begin near the end of May or early June, but the earliest start date we could do was the beginning or July. I know this happens sometimes. But the fact that they were hiring people for project purposes seems like a red flag to me. If there are fewer projects in the future, they would just lay people off. Good firms have forethought and long-term visions: they hire talented people to grow with the firm, not to share the workload and kick them out immediately when there isn't much work, or reject candidates simply they have to delay their start date for merely one month.
