I was asked to participate in an automated phone interview where I couldn't listen back at my voice and I couldn't redo the answers if I sneezed or coughed or if I was disconnected. I kept getting disconnected and couldn't redo my previous answers. Honestly, I find it personally lazy for employers to refuse to conduct a live interview in real time. If they don't want to go to bat and take the time for potential employees, then chances are it'll be difficult to work with them once you're hired.
