I had an in- person interview for an underwriter position. Their HR department called me first and scheduled an appointment at their office. I had a very brief half hour in-person interview with 3 managers. The 2 managers came in late to the interview. The interview process was very tense, and I felt very uncomfortable. In the end I was asked if I was willing to work daily overtime and on weekends, which was not posted on their job post. No extra compensation was offered for OT. Their managers excessively used business jargon terms and when asked to clarify seemed offended to elaborate on the jargon used. The managers were not very helpful on the interview process or knowledgeable relating to the industry and classifications. I noticed the position was still posted 30+ days. The company never reached out to me regarding if I was accepted or not for the position, even though I emailed an inquiry regarding my interview status.

I saw a job advertised for a claims adjuster on indeed and responded to it. Uploaded my resume and got to speak with HR over the first round of selections. The company is in Long Island city m, not ver convo isn’t to get to. You may drive but, parking in the area is like looking for gold with non in sight. I got a parking ticket because the interview was 3 hrs long. I spoke with HR and then waited an hr and 45 min to speak with the hiring manager. I didn’t take the offer I was turned off by the commute
