Very disrespectful. I was contacted to have a Teams interview of 45 minutes one week after the first communication. I agreed and the time of the interview was changed many times, including 1 hour before the actual interview, which I accepted and was always flexible. I was prepared for the 45 mins interview, the interviewer not only arrived late but also cut me straight after 12 mins chat (I even thought that I might had read 45 when it was really 15 mins, but in all communications it said 45 minutes initial interview) The questions asked were very basic and more about my notice period and such things than getting to know me as a person or worker, as an initial interview. A few days later I received a "general communication" from "my workday" rejecting me. I wrote to the interviewer to ask for feedback, as I consider that I fulfilled with all the requirements, soft and hard skills and I was not even offered the opportunity to demonstrate it. The feedback was that they needed an immediate start date. Which was something that I was not aware of, and if I had known it, I could have negotiated a shorter notice period, as I had some unused holidays, etc...
