      Step 1: 5-Minute Self Video-Recording The first step involved recording a 5-minute self-video through MyInterview.com. The process included answering 5 basic questions, with the option to record each answer twice. While convenient in terms of flexibility, the experience felt impersonal. Step 2: Assessment Center Visit (Full-Day) For the second step, I was invited to an assessment center, which required selecting from two available dates. Each session lasted a full day and assessed six candidates simultaneously. The day started with a short presentation about the company. Afterward, the candidates were divided into two groups and given various tasks designed to evaluate work style, teamwork, presentation skills, and technical abilities. The technical assessment required using and testing their platform without prior onboarding. Although they initially mentioned that only top-performing candidates would proceed to 1:1 interviews, in the end, everyone was offered an individual interview, even those who struggled with the tasks. Unfortunately, I had to wait about an hour for my interview as I was one of the last candidates in line. The interviewers appeared visibly tired and even mentioned that they were exhausted since this was the second assessment day. This gave me the impression that they might not have had the same level of focus or energy for my interview, potentially reducing my chances of being hired. For me, the overall process was time-intensive. Recording the initial video felt impersonal, and dedicating an entire weekday to the assessment center required taking a day off, which seemed excessive. Additionally, spending the day waiting and talking with other candidates wasn’t the best use of time. I would have preferred an online interview format that better respected candidates’ schedules. Considering this is an HR platform aiming to revolutionize hiring, I’m not convinced their approach improves the process significantly. One positive takeaway is their quick response times, which helped reduce the uncertainty in the process.

We understand that the process, particularly the assessment center day, may have felt time-intensive, and we value your perspective on this. However, we’d like to provide some additional context to address your concerns. Before the assessment day, we ensured candidates were informed of the full schedule and estimated completion time so that they could plan accordingly. During the day itself, we provided food, drinks, snacks, and a comfortable seating area to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Additionally, our team made an effort to engage with all candidates, allowing you not only to showcase your skills but also to get a genuine sense of our team dynamics and company culture. This extended interview format was designed to go beyond the limitations of a one-hour meeting, offering a deeper and more authentic opportunity for us to understand each candidate’s fit while giving you more exposure to our people and workplace. We recognize, however, that this approach may not suit everyone and will continue to evaluate and refine our process to ensure it aligns with candidates’ expectations and schedules. We’re pleased to hear you found our response times efficient, as reducing uncertainty is a priority for us. We thank you again for your feedback and wish you the very best in your career journey.
