I called the contact number placed In the Richmond Times Dispatch. The owner answered my call and immediately scheduled an interview with me, for the same day, at 5pm. I arrived at the address given and the owner began the interview immediately. The owner was very eager to hire someone right away for the position. I was apprehensive because of this however we spoke for about an hour regarding the requirements of the position, benefits and hours. He seemed friendly and extremely interested in my experience/ education. After discussing all the details, I accepted the job, we shook hands and my employment began the following Monday. Before leaving, the owner wanted to give me a tour of the office, machine shop and delivery area. Also, he had a few folders of detailed information describing his company, the work ethics, job description and other pertinent information needed regarding this machine shop.
